Crates
QuantumStorage includes two crate systems: portable Crates for carrying a single full stack, and Storage Crates for placeable inventories that keep their contents when harvested.
Portable Crates
An empty Crate becomes a portable package for one complete stack of an item.
- Put an empty Crate in the left input of a Crating Machine.
- Put one full stack of the item to pack in the second input. The stack must be at that item's maximum stack size.
- After 100 ticks (five seconds), collect the filled Crate from the output.
- Right-click the filled Crate to unpack its stack into your inventory. If there is no room, the stack drops on the ground.
The Crating Machine accepts automation on its inputs and allows extraction from its output.
Storage Crates
Storage Crates are placeable containers with a tiered capacity. All sides support item automation, and the crate item keeps its inventory when the block is harvested.
